Event Description

Join us for an inspiring hour with the developers of the Bridging Research, Accurate Information & Dialogue (BRAID) Model, a powerful, community-driven approach to building understanding and confidence in important health topics. Developed in New York, this model brings health care providers and community members together to listen, learn, and co-create trusted messages that address real questions and foster lasting trust. Hear how teams in British Columbia are adapting the approach to strengthen local connections and build confidence in HPV vaccination. Our hope is to make collaboration with community an easy and rewarding choice.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

  • Describe how community-driven approaches like BRAID can build trust and improve understanding of complex health topics, like HPV vaccinations
  • Identify practical ways to apply lessons from BRAID to strengthen collaboration between health care providers and communities.
