ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Trish is a distinguished, multi-award-winning professional with extensive experience in health care, governance and change management. She has an impressive early career in microbiology and embryology, followed by a transition into consulting where she now specializes in decolonizing and demystifying governance and policy frameworks across sectors. Recognized as one of Canada’s Top 25 Immigrants by RBC and one of Canada’s Top 100 Accomplished Black Women, Trish is the Founder and CEO of Synergy Executive & Boards Consulting Group, a leading pan-Canadian boutique firm specializing in board governance frameworks and people-centred change management. She is currently serving her second term as a City Councillor in Coquitlam and her second term as President of the Union of BC Municipalities.
