Journey Mapping: Exploring Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) in BC

Maps made based on the composite journeys shared by 37 people with lived and/or living experience of receiving or providing Opioid Agonist Therapy (OAT) in primary care settings across British Columbia. Based on a journey mapping session held by HQBC in March 2023 to explore how access to Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) care is supported throughout the province. Journey mapping helps to understand what can typically happen and captures people’s concerns, emotions, thoughts and beliefs. This knowledge is important for finding ways to improve care.
