ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Grade 12 Students École Royal Bay Secondary Winners, Health Talks Student Contest Amy, Katie and Lapaly are passionate and determined Grade 12 students who have all demonstrated a strong commitment to both their academic pursuits and their communities. As Social Engagement volunteers through the Step-up Youth Program at the Victoria General Hospital, they have worked closely with patients, providing support and friendly conversation. Their dedication extends beyond their volunteer work as they are actively involved in their school’s leadership program through organizing fundraisers and school events. These experiences have fostered a passion for helping others in the community and has driven their interest in pursuing careers in health care. Through both their volunteer work and other leadership initiatives, they are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on their community and committed to driving positive change within the health care system.
