Irina joined Health Quality BC in October 2017 as Program Assistant with the Patient and Public Engagement team. Prior to joining HQBC, she worked in publishing, for Canada’s largest Aboriginal newspaper.

Irina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philology and is passionate about healthy living. She graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2017 as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. She felt ready to make a move towards something she really believes in, so joining HQBC came as the perfect step in her career. She thinks that our common effort and actions can make a big difference towards a better health care system.

She is also passionate about traveling and as a proud Vancouverite, she published a travel guide about Vancouver’s beautiful tourist attractions. In her spare time she likes to read and write short essays, spend time with friends, chat about the spiritual aspects of life and go out as much as possible to enjoy her adoptive city.
