Description: The BC Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Prevention Collaborative is a mentored quality improvement implementation project designed to optimize VTE prevention for Hospitalist patients across BC. The combined provincial percentage of appropriate prophylaxis has increased from 58% to 93%, according to the program’s audit strategy.
