The objective of this 1.5-hour capacity building webinar on October 5, 2023, was to learn about leading community dialogues. A Leading Community Dialogues Skill Sheet was co-developed by CATs, which provides helpful step by step activities and resources. Topic explored in this session, included:
- How-to guide from the Community Toolbox,
- Identifying CAT needs and generating dialogue ideas, and
- Wise practices for culturally safe community dialogues.
Indigenous Elders shared their wisdom on harm reduction and hosting community dialogues with local First Nations, Métis or Inuit Peoples.
