Introducing Improving Health Care Together Kits
Our partners have shared with us that meaningful engagement needs improvement. We listened and created Improving Health Care Together Kits, a new tool that supports patient partners and health organizations to take on meaningful work to improve the quality of care together.
The first kit we’ve launched is a Leadership Job Interview Panel Kit, created in partnership with Providence Health Care, Island Health and patient partners.

Why did we create the kits?
Your time is valuable. The Improving Health Care Together Kits are self-directed, so they work for you, when and where you need it. The goal is to increase the confidence of health care and patient partners to work together. We know the more prepared you feel, the better the outcomes of your engagement.
What engagement opportunities are covered?
The first kit we’re launching is about patient partner involvement in Leadership Job Interview Panels. Kits to support other frequently requested engagements will follow, including Patient & Family Advisory Councils and Telling your Story.
Who was involved?
Health Quality BC is working with health care and patient partners to co-produce resources to support your engagement practice. We want to enhance and support the work happening across BC and use our networks to share the work with more people.
