Kathy MacNeil is President & CEO of Island Health. Kathy led the organization’s quality, safety and experience portfolio for three years as Vice-President before moving into her current position as CEO. As an experienced health-care executive with over 35 years of progressive leadership experience, Kathy started her career in health care as a physiotherapist and stays grounded in her purpose to enable people and systems to achieve their highest level of function. Kathy also serves on the Board of the Health Employers Association of British Columbia and the United Way of Greater Victoria, as well as co-chair of the Canada Health Leadership Network (CHLNet).
