Communications Leader
Megan works with project leaders to understand their audiences and distill information into actionable content strategies. She uses strategic storytelling, empathy maps and audience personas to foster trust and motivate change. Her communication strategies promote knowledge transfer, consensus building, and improved decision making.
Megan brings over 20 years of communications experience in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Health Quality BC, she developed communications strategies for Interior Health in support of projects ranging from the adoption of MEDITECH, corporate use of social media, capital projects, MAiD legislation, and an organizational storytelling strategy.
Megan holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Western Ontario, where she focused on knowledge management and information architecture. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a joint major in Gerontology and Political Science, from McMaster University.
