Evan Adams: Providing Better Care for First Nations in BC

We asked Evan Adams to tell us about his hopes for health care. On February 24, 2016, Evan talked to us about what it means to provide better holistic, culturally safe health care for First Nations populations in BC.

Evan is a Coast Salish physician and actor from the Sliammon Band near Powell River. Before joining the First Nations Health Authority, he was the Ministry of Health’s Deputy Provincial Health Officer for Aboriginal Health. He stars in the Emmy-winning TV movie Lost in the Barrens and its Emmy-nominated sequel Curse of the Viking Grave.
