Health Talks invited eight speakers — representing both health care and the public — to answer our question using the exciting Pecha Kucha presentation format: What are your hopes for health care?

As the City of Vancouver’s Homeless Advocate, Judy Graves has helped thousands of homeless people and brought about meaningful change in the delivery of social welfare in this province. She designed the city’s housing outreach program and has helped the homeless navigate bureaucracy and find affordable long-term accommodations for over 30 years. In 2009 she received an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws from the University of British Columbia.

Health Talks was emceed by Gavin Stuart, Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Vice Provost, Health, at the University of British Columbia.
