The What We Heard Report provides information about the People & Community Partnerships: Building Connections for Health Quality virtual dialogue event, which took place December 6, 2023.

The virtual event aimed to create a dialogue among health authorities, community partners and patients about shared goals and issues impacting health care in BC. The report captures information about the event, what we heard from participants, and how what we heard will influence and guide the development of future Health Quality BC programs and services to better support partnering with people and communities. It also features incredible visual interpretations of the day created by Sam Bradd, Principal, Drawing Change Consulting.

“It was an amazing experience for me in the planning of the People & Community Partnerships: Building Connections for Health Quality virtual event where people were able to share their lived experience to improve health quality in BC. The professional calibre of the team was incredible. The event went extremely well. I had the honour to be one of the speakers. I hope by sharing our story at S.U.C.C.E.S.S., it will continue to invigorate people to achieve their dreams despite adversity.”
