Quality Forum 2018 Report
Quality Forum 2018 brought together more than 1,200 participants over its three days. First, a “pre-Forum day” featured two full-day sessions: 180 people learned how to plan for and assess lasting change, and we again partnered with the Joint Collaborative Committees to examine successful and emerging initiatives and collaborative approaches to patient care. That evening, we also hosted Health Talks, where we celebrated the achievements of our 2018 Quality Award winners and heard from eight diverse speakers on their hopes for health care.
The event’s main two days of programming welcomed 950 people from across the continuum of care and geographical regions of the province. Programming was guided by a steering committee that included representatives from provincial stakeholders and featured plenary speakers, oral and poster presentations, field trips, breakout sessions and interactive workshops on a wide range of topics related to providing quality care.
